HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Saugatuck Township firefighters and a lot of friends are hosting a car wash from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30, 2019, at the Saugatuck Department of Public Works, 3338 Blue Star Highway (next to the fire department) for a Superhero Car Wash Fundraiser to support the Betts Family.
Mike Betts is a firefighter and his daughter Avery is dealing the effects of with a brain stem tumor and treatment, as well as complications.
Volunteers from the Fire, Police, EMS, and DPW departments will be on hand — dressed as superheroes — to wash your car for a $10 minimum donation. All proceeds will go directly to the Betts family.
