HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The National Weather Service in grand rapids has issued a beach hazards statement.in effect from midnight tonight through Tuesday afternoon, June 25, 2019.
A combination of waves hitting up to 5 feet, colder water temperatures, and rip currents and structural currents will create dangerous swimming conditions — and that will be the case along the Lakeshore, from St. Joseph to Pentwater.
The most dangerous beaches: South Haven’s North and South beaches; Holland State Park; Muskegon State Park and Pere Marquette Park, as well as Grand Haven State Park among others further north.
