HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Sperry’s Moviehouse, 84 W. Eighth St., a new boutique moviehouse in downtown Holland, is set tol open today, Thursday, June 13, 2019.
The first showing is Men in Black: International, at 4 p.m.. This will be the second Sperry’s Moviehouse in Michigan; the first location opened in 2017 in Port Huron.
Sperry’s Moviehouse features luxury seats with heat, massage, and reclining options designed by Zeeland-based Charter House Innovations’ First Class Seating, owned by Chuck Reid, who also owns Sperry’s Moviehouse. The upscale boutique theater will have 11 theaters ranging from 34-49 seats, along with a playhouse theater for children. Guests can buy movie tickets online or purchase them at the theater; the 4 p.m. show costs $9.25 and later shows cost $11.75.
The theater will also offer a package, ‘Dinner and Movie for Two,’ gratuity included, which features two tickets for a 6 p.m. or later show and a dinner for two at the second-floor dinnerhouse. Guests will have the option to order from a menu which includes one appetizer and dessert to share. along with two main courses.
Plans are underway to open a full bar at the theater as well.
