HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Waterfront Holland has two public meetings today, May 21, 2019, for talking about the former James DeYoung Power Plant, the VerPlank property, and Window-on-the-Waterfront.
A charette is a meeting that collects thoughts and ideas from as many groups as possible, in this case, residents, business owners and regular Holland visitors.
Designers will present a variety of ideas and collect reactions until 1 p.m. today at Holland City Hall’s second-floor training room, followed by an open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. today in the city hall council chambers.
On Thursday, designers will be at city hall from 6:30 – 8 p.m., presenting the information they’ve collected and indicating which direction they’ll follow.
