OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — The West Olive man killed in Saturday’s traffic crash has been identified as David Scott Snyder, 62, according to Ottawa county Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike VandenBosch.
The I-96 crash that killed Snyder critically injured his wife and the driver blamed for the crash, a 23-year-old Kentwood man. Both survivors’ conditions have been upgraded to fair.
Drugs and alcohol don’t appear to be factors in the crash, VandenBosch said, but speed does seem to be.
