Gerene H. Langejans, age 97, of Holland, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019 at Appledorn Living Center North.
Gerene was a charter member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church and throughout her life, she remained committed to its life and mission. She was involved in the Dorcas Society, served on the mission committee, and helped out in Bible School, baking cookies well into her nineties.
Gerene was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, in 2006.
Gerene is survived by her children, Del and Alice Langejans of Holland, Karen and Steven Stam of Holland, Crystal and Robert Bowman of Grand Rapids, Ruthie and Bob Malda of Zeeland; 9 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are planned for 10:00 am Saturday, May 18 at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, 11 E 32

St., with Rev. Steven Stam and Pastor Dan Walcott officiating.
Burial will be in East Saugatuck Cemetery.
Visitation is scheduled for 4:00-7:00 pm Friday at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16
