HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — It’s final exam week at Hope College. It’s also time for downtown Holland drivers to be aware of increased traffic in an around Hope’s campus, according to school spokesman Greg Olgers.
“As the week goes along, Students will be finishing up, and that will especially be true Thursday and Friday,” he said. We will have parents in their vehicles all throughout the campus area.”
He urged area residents to be patient with those visiting the Holland area in the days ahead, and to expect much heavier traffic in and around the campus.
The 154th Hope College commencement is set for Sunday afternoon, May 5, 2019, at the Ray & Sue Smith Stadium, weather permitting, with the proceedings moved to DeVos Fieldhouse if the weather is not permitting.
Olgers said a decision on changing venues would be announced during the first of two baccalaureates at Dimnent Memorial Chapel in the morning.
