HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The first-ever Guns & Hoses Dodgeball Tournament set for 11 a.m. Saturday. April 13, 2019, at Macatawa Bay Middle School will benefit the Ed & Nancy Hanenburg Children’s Advocacy Center.
This will be a free, family friendly event encourages donations in exchange for Hudsonville Ice Cream, On the Border chips and salsa, Wesco Popcorn, Zeeland Pizza Hut pizza, and face painting.
Along with the dodgeball fun, visitors will find child-abuse prevention education resources, Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office firearm safety information and Holland Township Fire Department fire safety tips.
Tournament teams include those from the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office, Holland Department of Public Safety, Holland City Fire, and Grand Haven Public Safety. Doors open at 11 a.m., and at noon, anyone can play against law-enforcement officers during warm-up.
Games start at 12:30pm.
