OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Central Dispatch will complete this first audible siren test of 2019 today, April 5, at noon.
The sirens will sound for approximately 1 to 3 minutes. Ottawa County monthly siren tests are set this year from April through November at noon, on the first Friday of each month.
The Outdoor Warning Sirens are used as a device to get people indoors. The sirens can be activated for a tornado, winds over 70 mph, or a hazardous materials incident.
