OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 17-year-old from Hudsonville has a traffic ticket after a Monday afternoon crash in Holland Township, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. David VanderPloeg.
She was driving a 1999 Dodge pick-up truck, heading south on 96th Avenue, when she attempt turning left onto eastbound Riley Street.
But she’d pulled in front of a 2008 Volkswagon that a 51-year-old Zeeland woman had been driving north on 96th Avenue, with a passenger, a 12-year-old boy.
Everyone had been wearing seatbelts and all went ot Spectrum Zeeland for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The 17-year-old has a ticket for failing to yield the right of way.
