HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A crash at the intersection of 60th Avenue and Pierce Street in Allendale Tuesday morning, March 19, 2019, left two adults and two children injured.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cal Keuning said investigators found Andrew Frisbie, at the KIA’s wheel, had been eastbound on Pierce, when his KIA struck A Chevrolet Impala being driven by Curtis Jenison, then southbound on 60th Avenue, with two children in the backseat
The crash spun Jenison’s Impala around, blocking the intersection.
All parties involved in the vehicle were wearing their seat belts, and air-bag deployed in both vehicles, Keuning said.
Jenison went by ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth, while the two children in his car went by ambulance to the Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital; Frisbie went by ambulance to Zeeland Hospital.
This incident remains under investigation. Ottawa Sheriff’s deputies were assisted at the scene by Allendale firefighters, and LIFE EMS.
