HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating an armed robbery at a Holland Township party store, Repete’s, 12719 Riley St.
No one was injured in the incident, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. J. Douglas. The suspect is described as a light-skinned male, dressed in all black clothing, 6 feet tall, weighing between 150 and 200 pounds.
Witnesses told police the man entered the store just after 11 p.m. Sunday, March 17, 2019, with his face partially covered, brandished a handgun and demanded the money in the register. He made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
A Sheriff’s K9 Unit tracked the suspect for a short distance before losing the scent.
