HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for most of West and Central Michigan, including the following counties: Allegan, Ottawa, Muskegon, Kent, and cities as far east as Lansing.
Area residents should expect a mix of snow and ice with accumulations of up to an inch of snow and ice up to a tenth of an inch.
The snow is expected to transition to light freezing rain or drizzle during the afternoon commute and fade out by 10 p.m.
Drivers can expect slippery conditions.
