HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A 53-year-old Holland woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Holland Township late on Thursday morning.
According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant David VanderPloeg, Lisa Miscovich was driving her SUV southbound on Beeline Road just before noon, when she failed to negotiate a curve in the road before James Street. Her vehicle veered off to the right and struck a tree, he said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Ottawa County Medical Examiner’s Office. Three dogs in the vehicle with her at the time were injured and taken to a nearby veterinarian for treatment.
VanderPloeg said the crash remains under investigation.
