Gertrude Bleeker Van Rhee, age 93 of Holland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Thursday, January 31, 2019.
She was born on September 27, 1925 to Henry and Martha Elhart Moes. Gertrude raised her family
at their home which was above the Fillmore Store,
and at their home in Big Rapids.
She is survived by her children: Judy Terpstra, Michael and Shirley Bleeker, Randall and Janet Bleeker and Barbara and John Blair; 10 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren; her husband Glenn; his children: Terry and Margie Van Rhee, Marcia and Ned Freriks, Dennis and Linda Van Rhee, Mark and Jacki Van Rhee: and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; brother George and Eleanor Moes; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Dorothy Bleeker, Mike and Elaine Becksvoort, Ken and Georgian Bleeker, Arlene Stygstra, Peter and Marilyn Elzinga and Sherry and Herk Diepenhorst.
Gertrude was preceded in death by her first husband, Harry J. Bleeker in 1988, her son Douglas L. Bleeker in 1973, her son-in-law Raymond Terpstra in 2018 and her sister Genevieve Snyder in 2018.
Visitation will be 2-5 p.m. Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16
th
Street, Holland. The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2019 also at the funeral home. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
