OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — Leadfoot Automotive Group is consolidating and that may put 13 employees out of work.
The company is closing its subsidiaries: Leadfoot Muscle Cars; Macatawa Auto Sales & Finance; Leadfoot Detailing; and Leadfoot Paint & Body Restoration, at 176 E. Lakewood Blvd.
Leadfoot Garage, the group’s full-service repair shop at 350 E Lakewood Blvd., will remain open,
“We’re grateful to our employees for their service and our customers over the years for their patronage,” said Leadfoot’s general sales manager, Jeff Deneff, in an emailed statement, adding that company officials are grateful to employees for their service and customers for patronage over the years, but the market just wasn’t sucessful as they’d hoped it would be.
Leadfoot Automotive Group is assisting the 13 employees losing their current jobs find news ones.
Leadfood officials indicated there are are no immediate plans for property at 176 E. Lakewood .
