OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — Former State House candidate and longtime volunteer for the Ottawa County’s Republican Party, David Kroll, is now Ottawa County’s new GOP chairman.
He said in a statement emailed to media now is a time to rebuild the party going into the 2020 election season.
Kroll is a lifelong West Michigan resident, precinct delegate, and active community member. He’s a 2001 Zeeland High graduate. He previously attended Borculo Christian School and later attended Baker College (2005). He currently works as a Holland Special Delivery driver.
During the 2018 election cycle, Kroll personally made more than 20,000 phone calls to voters across the state and delivered campaign literature to households across West Michigan.
As Ottawa County’s GOP chairman, Kroll will appoint qualified volunteers and officials to chair and co-chair positions for each of the party’s four committees: campaign, outreach, finance, and communications.
Other new Ottawa County GOP officers are vice Chair, Jim Barry, area realtor and brother of Rep. Bill Huizenga, Secretary is Grand Haven longtime GOP volunteer Tammy Murray-Herber; and the new Treasurer is former State Representative Amanda Price
