OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a suspicious fire in Robinson Township, according to Sgt. Brian Buter. Police and firefireghters were dispatched to a home, at 13544 Lightening Tree Lane in Robinson Township, just before 4:15 a.m. today, Monday, Nov. 12, 2018.
Firefighters found a small fire inside a pole barn on the property, he said, and quickly doused it.
A woman who attempted to put out the fire on her own was taken for medical treatement of possible smoke inhalation, he said.
The incident remains under investigation, Buter said.
