HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The body recovered from Lake Macatawa believed to be missing Park Township resident Demetrius Dushun McKnight Jr., 25, has been been positively identified after a forensic autopsy, according to Ottawa County Sherift’s Capt. Mark Bennett.
“The cause of death is drowning,” Bennett said. “Foul play is not suspected in this incident.”
Mr. McKnight was last seen by family members on October 19, 2018. Police found McKnight’s abandoned vehicle in a parking lot in the 2000 block of Ottawa Beach Road, in Park Township.

Funeral plans are unknown at this time.
