OTTAWA COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of 144th Avenue and Apple Drive Monday afternoon in Crockery Township sent both drivers to Hackley Hospital in Muskegon with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Rick Sykes.
The crash happened just after 1:45 when Spring Lake resident Lillian Lincoln, 78, at the wheel of a 2003 Ford Explorer, collided with a 1998 Ford, with Nunica resident Ted Wierenga, 60, at the wheel.
Lincoln told police she didn’t see the Ford, Sykes said, and she was cited for failure to yield.
