HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Waterfront Holland is the City of Holland’s next big project and city officials are looking for residents’ input and ideas. People can visit Holland’s Civic Center place until noon today, Oct. 20, 2018, to see some maps and talk with officials.
City officials define the waterfront as stretching east of South Shore Village along Lake Macatawa, northwest to Dunton Park, with the James De Young Power plant close to the center of that stretch.
Free power plant site tours are set for the next two Saturdays, Oct. 27 and Nov. 3. Because time ad space is limited to three 30-minute tours at 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. each day, city officials are requiring pre-registration.
