HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The National Weather Service’s Grand Rapids office issued a frost advisory, in effect from 2 to 9 a.m. Saturday.
Saturday’s early morning temperatures are expected to dip into the low to mid-30s.
This type of frost could damage sensitive, unprotected vegetation. The NWS suggests taking precautionary/preparedness actions, either by harvesting or protecting tender vegetation. Potted plants normally left outdoors should be covered or brought inside away from the cold.
