HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A two-vehicle crash at 120th Avenue and Riley Street in Holland Township Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 9, 2018, sent Zeeland resident Raymond Ammeraal to the hospital with a serious head injury, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Ruster.
Police found that Dario Gama-Martinez, 36, of Holland, was driving a 2012 GMC Arcadia south of 120th and attempted to turn east onto Riley when his vehicle struck Ammeraal’s 2013 Ford Edge, then northbound on 120th.
Ruster says Ammeraal is in serious but stable condition. The crash remains under investigation.
