SOUTH HAVEN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Holland Hospital and OB/GYN Associates of Holland are expanding their services to South Haven. A new facility at 749 Phillips Street in South Haven will open October 8, featuring four large exam and treatment rooms, office areas and a bright lobby. OB/GYN Associates of Holland will see patients at the new South Haven location on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-4 p.m. Hospital officials say the move will make it more convenient for patients who live in South Haven and had previously been driving a half-hour north to Holland for pre- and post-natal care, as well as other obstetric and gynecology services.
“Holland Hospital’s Boven Birth Center has been the first choice for expectant mothers for years with over half of South Haven moms choosing Holland Hospital for their birthing experience,” hospital senior vice president Patti VanDort said. “We are delighted with this partnership that brings local OB care to our South Haven patients.”
A community open house is planned for Thursday, September 27 from 6-8 p.m. at the Phillips Street facility. Representatives from OB/GYN Associates will be on hand to answer questions and provide tours of the newly remodeled office. Refreshments will be provided.
