SOUTH HAVEN (WHTC-AM/FM) — Fire destroyed a recreational trailer parked at a South Haven-area mobile home park on Thursday, Aug. 10, 2018. South Haven Area Emergency Services Authority responded to the fire, at the Mitchell Brothers Mobile Home Park on County Road 388, Geneva Township, at 9:45 p.m.
The unoccupied 30-foot-long trailer was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived on scene.
The owner had just returned from a camping trip an hour before the fire was discovered.
There were no injuries reported.
The cause remans under investigation, according to Fire Chief Ronald Wise.
