HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) In a primary election, candidates compete for the right to represent their political party on November’s ballot.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Current rules require showing a photo ID to cast a ballot. That could be a current Michigan Driver’s License or Michigan Personal Identification Card, a federal or state government-issued photo ID, a U.S. passport, military ID, student ID or tribal ID — but any of those must have your photo.
To view the ballot for your area, visit the Michigan Secretary of State’s website.

WHTC will have complete coverage of the election and its results on Tuesday.
