HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The lights went out for thousands of Grand Haven Board of Power and Light customers between 5:45 and 6 p.m. on July 4, 2018, according to the utility’s outage map.
By 8 p.m., some individuals and areas were reporting power was back on, but the outage map showed 5,644 customers still waiting for service.
It’s unclear how what caused the outage or how it may affect the city’s Fourth of July celebration.
