HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A car-motorcycle crash tied up traffic near the intersection of Riley Street and Waverly Shores Friday morning, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s officials.
The crash happened at about 6:45 a.m. when John Cervantes, 23, of Holland, was turning west onto Riley from Waverly Shores and pulled into the path of Raymond Lahaie, 26, of Holland, according to police.
Cervantes was wearing his seatbelt and not injuried. Lahaie, who’d been on a motorcycle, was taken by ambulance to Holland Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He had been wearing a helmet.
Ottawa County deputies were assisted at the scene by Zeeland Township Fire & Rescue, and AMR.
