HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The suspect in the Aug. 24, 2016, armed robbery of the Dollar Tree at 661 24th St. has been convicted and sentenced, according to a statement emailed to media by the Holland Department of Public Safety.
Jeremy Lemar Beavers, 31, was sentenced Friday in an 20th Circuit Court in Ottawa County to nine to 25 years in prison, plus fines and costs.
The robbery remained unsolved until police tracked Beavers to a Wisconsin’s Rock County Jail in April.
According to court records, Beavers used a handgun to rob the store of an cash.
