ALLENDALE TWP. (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allendale Township resident Chad Idsinga, 43, got hurt in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cal Kuening.
The crash happened as Allendale Township resident Sarah Rozema 22, was pulling out of her driveway onto Pierce Street at around 8 a.m. Monday, May 7, 2018. Her vehicle stuck a vehicle driven by Chad Idsinga 43, also of Allendale Township. He had been westbound on Pierce Street.
The collision sent Idsinga’s vehicle off the road and into a stand of trees.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Rozema was not hurt. Idsinga was taken to Spectrum-Zeeland Hospital
The incident remains under investigation, Keuning said.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies, Allendale Fire Department and and Life EMS responded to the call for help.
