HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — For the 15th year in a row, Holland Hospital has been named one of the best and brightest companies to work for in West Michigan.
The National Association for Business Resources (NABR) bestows the award on organizations which demonstrate a commitment to excellence in human resource and employee enrichment practices, according to the hospital’s statement.
Categories used for judging include communication, work-life balance, employee education and development, community initiatives, diversity, recognition and retention.
“Superior service is only possible with a superior workforce, and day after day, our staff, volunteers and physicians go above and beyond to achieve the exceptional service our community trusts us to provide,” said Mark Pawlak, senior vice president for the hospital’s Human Resources, Quality, IT & Hospital Operations areas, in the hospital’s statement. “This recognition validates our efforts to be an employer of choice and reinforces our success in recruiting and retaining the very best.”
The NABR will honor 150 employers at an awards banquet on May 3 at the JW Marriott in downtown Grand Rapids.
