ALLEGAN COUNTY (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s Office has announced registration for boater safety classes.
The Sheriff’s marine deputies teach the free classes, which have one- or two-day options, and award boating safety certificates.
Classes are open to anyone 12 years of age or older. Anyone younger may attend, but must be accompanied by an adult, according to the Allegan County Sheriff Office announcement.
Participants must bring a pencil and a sack lunch. Course materials are provided.
