ZEELAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – For the second time in as many days, firefighters had to respond to a blaze at a mobile home park in Ottawa County.
Yesterday afternoon, crews from several communities were called to the Ottogan Mobile Home Estates off of Ottogan Street east of 96th Avenue after neighbors saw smoke and flames coming out of a unit on Patti Place. The fire was contained to the interior of the trailer and was brought under control quickly without incident. The homeowner was not at the residence at the time. Investigators didn’t immediately determine a cause of this blaze nor put a dollar estimate on damage caused.
Detectives are still looking into a Monday morning fire at the Allendale Meadows complex that destroyed two units and was being considered “suspicious in nature.”
