HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – As the Tulip Time Festival begins two months from next Monday, its online look is new, and so too is a new feature.
Those visiting tuliptime.com will see a freshened website, thanks to the help of local digital agencies Collective Idea and Next Creative Company. The biggest change will be for those checking things out online through their smartphones, tablets or other mobile device, as the website is now fully optimized for such views, with improved access to information about events, transportation and parking through an interactive map, among other upgrades.
In addition, a new Tulip Time photography class will enable those wishing to join long-time photojournalist Mike Lozon on an exclusive early-morning photo shoot of Windmill Island Gardens as the sun rises. He will share his tips on achieving the best results for shooting landscapes and architecture, as well as leading an hand-on tour of the home of the DeZwaan Windmill. The 90-minute class will be offered on May 8th and May 12, with more information on the Tulip Time website.
The 89th renewal of Holland’s annual signature event runs from May 5th to the 12th.
