JENISON, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The “Me Too” movement may have claimed a 55-year-old Jenison Public Schools teacher.
No names are being disclosed at this point after Ottawa County Sheriff’s Captain Mark Bennett and his fellow deputies were alerted a couple of weeks ago about the man who was allegedly involved in “inappropriate and possibly criminal” incidents that occurred about two decades ago in Newaygo County. “Sheriff’s detectives have been in contact with the Fremont Schools, where the Jenison teacher had been employed during the mid-1990’s,” Bennett explained. “At this point, investigators have not learned of any local Ottawa County victims.”
The teacher has been placed on paid administrative leave by the Jenison district as the allegations are being investigated, and tips to Silent Observer on this matter are welcome.
