HOLLAND TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The spring along the Lakeshore will bring tulip blossoms and the arrival of a long-awaited fast food franchise.
Officials with Chick-fil-a say that a nearly five thousand square-foot restaurant on North Park Drive, off of the James Street/US-31 intersection on Holland’s North Side, will open sometime next month. An exact date depends on any final construction problems stemming from razing the former Perkins Cake and Steak building and building the new eatery. Shaun Page will be the franchise owner, coming to West Michigan after operating a Chick-fil-a in Davenport, Iowa.
Once the restaurant opens, it will culminate a nearly three-year-long effort to bring the popular chain to the Holland area. A link to employment opportunities is here.
