HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – One of the state’s leading tourist attractions is looking forward to 2018.
Sally Laukitis of the Holland Area Visitors Bureau says that “our indications are looking good” for another banner year. “We’re coming off of a good year,” she said during her weekly visit to “WHTC Morning News” on Thursday. “Our ‘No Snow, No Kidding’ downtown Holland billboards are getting a ton of play. We’re doing a good job piggybacking with Pure Michigan on getting the word out.”
The billboards she refers to spotlights downtown Holland’s expanding snowmelt system. Laukitis added that she and other members of the Michigan Travel Commission are working on a new strategic plan for the Pure Michigan campaign for the upcoming year.
