HAMILTON, MI (WHTC) – Someone took the “mobile” in mobile home too seriously in northeast Allegan County.
Sometime over the extended Thanksgiving holiday weekend, a 1992 model Chariot Park manufactured residence was towed from a lot off of Tyler Road near Wayland. Witnesses claim to have seen the 14 thousand-pound, 10-foot-by-40-foot trailer with yellow siding and white trim being hauled southbound from the intersection of 4th Street and 129th Avenue east of Bradley last Monday.
Yesterday, troopers from the state police post in Wayland found the wayward mobile home in Silver Creek County Park east of Hamilton after receiving tips to its location. While nobody is in custody, troopers claim to have identified suspects as the case remains under investigation.
