HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Bells will be ringing with Holiday cheer Saturday in downtown Holland.
It’s the Holiday Open House hosted by the Merchants of Downtown Holland. You’re invited to stroll the decorated and brightly lit streets filled with holiday carolers, shop for gifts while enjoying complimentary refreshments and even sample roasted chestnuts. Holland Mayor Nancy Deboer will be on hand as well as other leaders in the community.
“I can’t believe it. Here we go right into Thanksgiving next week. So from 5-8 we’ll have open house for going store to store and then we’ll have the tree lighting at 8 p.m. at the corner of Central and 8th. it’s always fun to launch the season.”
DeBoer says Santa will even make an appearance with his favorite elf and you can visit his reindeer at the petting corral.
