HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Residents of Freedom Village start on their crafts in January and work all year for the annual Freedom Village Holiday Bazaar.
The Bazaar will take place in their Lakes Atrium with two full floors with everything from Home and Holiday Decor, Jewelry, Baby Items, Vintage Pieces, Quilts, Woodworking Creations, Pet Products, Baked Goods, Books, Dolls & Toys, Notecards, Hand Crafted Gifts, Raffles, Art, Jams & Jellies, Silent Auction and more.
Marsha Schrotenboer is the Director of Resident Activity and says the second floor will be filled attic treasures.
“Those are things that have been given to us by residents as they downsize and there is some vintage things and decorative things.”
She says it’s free to attend the bazaar too.
“Almost all the money goes to our Freedom Village Scholarship Fund and to the Boys and Girls Club of Holland. We have a cafe too so if people want to come and pick up breakfast or a little lunch they can do that in our Michigan room.”
The Freedom Village Holiday Bazaar is Friday and Saturday, November 3rd and 4th from 9-9 p.m. Freedom Village is located at 145 Columbia Avenue in Holland.
