HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Holland’s two mayoral candidates sat a short distance apart during a forum broadcast live on Thursday night.
Incumbent Mayor Nancy DeBoer and challenger Jay Peters, a Second-Ward Councilman, answered questions from host Gary Stevens, from listeners who called in, and from those who posted questions to the WHTC Facebook page, during an hour-long session in the station’s Central Avenue studios. They touched upon a wide variety of topics, from the “vision” issue that has been a key point between the two candidates during the campaign, to the Holland Civic Center, parking, inclusiveness and other matters.
