HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The Ottawa County Emergency Management Office is offering free emergency training to residents.
The training program will feature the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) offering training from disaster prepardness, fire safety, light search and rescue, terrorism and more.
The training is Monday and Wedneday evenings from 6-9:00 p.m. and starts October 23 through November 22. Participants must attend all classes to receive their certificate of completion. Training includes hands-on experience, lectures and exercise at the Ottawa County Fillmore Complex Emergency Operations Center on Fillmore in West Olive.
