HUDSONVILLE, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A daycare facility in Hudsonville has been put on probation after complaints from several families.
The State of Michigan says Creative Kids Day Care violated care standards. A report filed with the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs on September 26th revealed workers yelled at children, called them “dumb,” and “stupid.” Some of the other violations include failure to clean toys.
The daycare facility was given until October 12 to respond to the allegations and have now come up with a plan of action. Over the next six months they will be watched closely by the state as they implement the plan. No details of what that plan is have been disclosed.
Creative Kids Day Care is located on School Avenue near Hudsonville Christian School.
