UNDATED (WHTC-AM/FM) – Isaac Van Dyke threw touchdown passes of 38 and 58 yards to Xavier Wade and added a 1-yard TD run as West Ottawa remained in a first-place tie atop the O-K Red Conference Friday, September 22 with a 20-7 victory over Hudsonville. The Panthers are now 3-0 in the conference and 4-1 overall.
In other area high school action Friday: Holland High improved to 4-1 with a 52-19 romp over Hamilton; Zeeland East remained unbeaten by rolling over Holland Christian, 50-12; Zeeland West got a touchdown with three seconds remaining to edge Byron Center, 22-14; Saugatuck cruised past Gobles, 40-6, as Bradley Dunn caught two touchdown passes from Jackson Shriver and ran for two other six-pointers; and Fennville picked up its first win of the season by defeating Martin, 35-6.
