ALLEGAN, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The Bus was Stuffed in a Big Way in Allegan County this summer.
Officials of the Allegan County United Way and Volunteer Center announced on Tuesday that over 25 thousand dollars in cash, food and personal care items were collected at nine participating grocery stores during the Stuff the Bus effort throughout the month of July. It’s an increase of more than 10 grand from 2016 in the ninth annual gathering for youngsters of families in need.
The fifth annual Stuff the Bus in Ottawa County had collected over 21 thousand dollars in school supplies at more than 60 locations.
