HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The Holland Museum presents the 7th Annual Vintage Holland Boat Show on Sunday.
It’s been moved from Kollen Park to the museum’s parking lot and will feature over 30 vintage boat says the museum’s Education & Outreach Manager Connie Lockhart
“This really showcases the craftsmanship of wooden boats. We’ve actually got a prototype boat that never really worked and never floated, but it’s from the 40’s. What’s interesting is that the inventor who invented it was trying to get it patented since the 2000’s. So we’re really excited to show off some of these really interesting boats and talk about Holland’s boat building industry too.”
The show runs from 10-4 p.m. and admission is $3.00 which includes admission to the Holland Museum located at 31 west 10th street. Free will be supplied by Macatawa Bank.
