HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – It’s been a busy week with the The Michigan Economic Developers Association in town for their biggest education and networking event of the year in Holland,
In addition to meetingsmore than 170 economic development professionals toured they city of Holland.
Holland Mayor Nancy DeBoer attended the event as well and the reviews are in. The attendees love Holland. When she approached a woman she didn’t have her name tag on identifying DeBoer as the Mayor of Holland.
“There was a lady in front of me and I just tapped her on the shoulder and I asked her how she was doing and what she thought about Holland. She was like ‘Holland oh I love Holland. This is just an amazing place that I have never been to before. This is so beautiful It’s so clean and everyone is so friendly.’ She just went on and on about Holland.
According to Lakeshore Advantage, the meetings have drawn the largest amount of sponsorship support and is the most well-attended meeting in the organization’s 57-year history. The event wraps up today at the Haworth Inn and Conference Center.
