HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The suspect who robbed the Shell Gas Station on Rive Ave. in Holland has been caught, thanks to information provided by tipsters to the Holland Department of Public Safety.
The suspect, whose identity will be released upon arraignment, allegedly robbed the Shell Gas Station in the 300 Block of Rive Ave on the morning of July 16. A handgun was seen during the hold up and with cash in hand, the suspect fled the gas station on a mountain bike.
Both Holland Public Safety and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department conducted a search of the area surrounding where the suspect was last seen, but was unable to locate him.
On July 20, the suspect was located by Michigan State police in Allegan County and arrested. The suspect was also in possession of a vehicle stolen from Ottawa County. A day later, a search warrant of a residence associated with the suspect was conducted by officers and two additional subjects were arrested on warrants unrelated to the gas station robbery.
