HOLLAND, MI (WHTC) – A 17-year-old Fennville woman has been bound over for trial on felonious assault charges stemming from an incident last month on Holland’s North Side.
Marie Sims waived a preliminary hearing on Tuesday in Holland District Court. She allegedly dragged an unnamed 16-year-old girl about 75 feet with her vehicle following an altercation at the Whispering Pines Apartment complex on May 29th. The victim was treated at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital for serious injuries.
Sims was arrested a short time and distance away from the incident. She remains free on 10 thousand dollars bond and could get up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
