ALLENDALE TWP., MI (WHTC) – A two-vehicle crash west of Allendale on Monday morning hospitalized a total of five persons from Grand Rapids.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Chris Dill and other first-responders were dispatched around 8 AM to the accident scene on Lake Michigan Drive. He said that a car driven by 22-year-old Morgan Addis had stopped on westbound M-45, waiting for eastbound traffic to clear in order to turn left onto 96th Avenue, when it was rearended by another westbound car, driven by 30-year-old Dasha Bolton, who told deputies that she didn’t see the vehicle ahead of her.
The two drivers, along with three children in Addis’ vehicle, were taken to undisclosed “Grand Rapids area hospitals” for treatment of their injuries. The incident remains under investigation.
